RSeries Logic Kit

There are two options for the blinky lights of R2's dome, Rseries Logic or Teeces.  Although more expensive, I opted for the RSeries as I felt they were more screen accurate.

The RSeries Logic Kit requires some assembly.  I recommend you pop on a movie and book off a few hours to put them together.  The instructions are straight forward to follow and don't leave you wondering what part goes where (https://code.google.com/archive/p/rseries-open-control/wikis/RSeriesLogicEngine.wiki).

The fiber optic is tricky and takes time and patience. It took me two-three hours to cut and feed the fiber optic cable through the bezels and align them correctly.  A needle nose pillars is a must have for this job.

Stick with it and at the end, this is the result.  Its actually quite satisfying to see the fruits of your labour once complete.  I think the side view has a bit of a wow factor to it.

The RSeries are time consuming to assemble but the time is well spent and rewarding when you see the end result.

One word of warning, I made a mistake by sanding the outer clear bezel of the rear logic display.  I've tried to buff the sanding out with a dremel, but to no avail.  I need to contact Paul (Joymonkey) to buy a replacement.  Now that I mention Paul (a fellow Irish man, living in the States), I cannot speak highly enough about him. He helped me at the start of my journey and once or twice along the way.

Paul's parts are great, his attention to detail is amazing and his tutorial videos are a must see (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYqB0RxLPh_JyEN1rsuaXpw) - Thanks Paul - Go raibh mile maith agat.
